新事移工線上直播中文班演講比賽和見面會

新事自今年3月22日開始進行外籍移工中文班線上直播e-learning迄今，有來自大台北區、桃園、新竹、台中、台南、高雄、屏東..等不同地區移工參加線上中文班的學習，透過雲端平台的學習，拉近了彼此的距離，亦讓身在不同工作職場的外籍移工，例如製造業的移工、外籍看護工、漁工都能夠有機會學習到中文，特別於8/02舉辦中文演講比賽決賽和見面會，讓學員們和老師能夠在現場互相認識，除了演講比賽，同時將學員的作品展出，並分享學習中文的經驗，讓老師現場給予指導和鼓勵。

今天有43位移工來現場參加見面會，其中有從台中遠道而來的移工；進入中文演講決賽的有29位學員，其中有6位因無法到場而用影片參賽，透過這次演講比賽，移工們展現這段時間在中文班所學習到的成果，學員們皆提到能夠學習中文是一件非常開心的事，他們用順暢的中文分享許多自身的經歷、彼此鼓勵，不僅讓我們看到每個學員都是非常的努力學習，深受他們演講的故事而感動，也看到經過這段時間的學習，每位學員都收穫滿滿。

Starting from 3/22 this year, our center provides online live Chinese classes for migrant workers from the Taipei area, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Pingtung, etc. Through the e-learning system, migrant workers working in different industries such as manufacture, nursing center, and fishery can learn Chinese in a convenient way. In order to build deeper connections between students and students and students with teachers, our center held the Speech Competition & Meet and Greet on 8/2 for the remote Chinese classes. Not only did students and teachers were able to meet each other, but students also have the opportunity to showcase their speech and writing and share their experience with other workers while having the teachers provide feedback.

We had 43 migrant workers coming to our event including one from Taichung. There were 29 participants entered the final, out of 29, there were 6 recorded their speeches because they couldn’t make it to the venue. Through the speech competition, the workers were able to apply what they had learned in the Chinese class. In the speeches, they shared about their happy experience, their struggles, their family, their reflections on Chinese classes. It was truly a heart-warming moment, seeing them sharing their experience and encouraging each other. It was also a gratified moment, where participants studied hard and tried hard to apply the skills they learned in Chinese class.
