Being Different Like Zongzi, Let Love String Together

With the Dragon Boat Festival approaching, New Vision Social Service Center, in collaboration with the Cathay Foundation for Education and Magis Youth Center, will be holding the " Being Different Like Zongzi, Let Love String Together

" event on June 11th, at the 3rd floor of Cathay Hall, Cathay General Hospital. We would like to express our gratitude to Cathay General Hospital for providing us with this comfortable venue. A total of 22 employers and domestic workers attended the event, making it a great success.

Director Jia-Ling Chung from New Vision Social Service Center introduces the services for families employing foreign caregivers and the well-being of caregivers.

▼The staff from New Vision Social Service Center introduced the diverse cultures of Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam through the discussion of different types of rice dumplings. This helped the present employers of foreign caregivers gain a deeper understanding of the multicultural aspects of these countries.

▼ They brought everyone closer together by making Filipino rice dumplings and Vietnamese green papaya salad, strengthening the bond between employers and foreign caregivers.

New Vision Social Service Center invited Ms. Yang Chen-Bi Man, a teacher from the Taipei LeSeen Labor Service Cooperative, to explain the use of long-term care resources for families employing foreign caregivers. Employers can continue to use long-term care resources as needed, and they can also apply for respite care when the caregiver is on leave or returns to their home country. Everyone was attentive and took notes, and employers shared their experiences of using long-term care resources on the spot.
